The fotocommunity has more than 1.7 million members and surely many of them are from your area!

Since 2001, one of the main features of fotocommunity is that our members are also very active in real life. Every year, our users hold over 1000 real-life meetings, photo tours, workshops, exhibitions and regulars’ tables.

You are looking for a fotocommunity event in your area? Then take a look at our calendar of events. You can reach it via the navigation point “Community” –> “Events“. In our calendar you can find all regulars’ tables, user meetings, workshops and events of fotocommunity members.

In the general overview, all events within a 100 km radius of your location appear by default. Dates are always marked in colour. Yellow, for example, are all internal fotocommunity events – user get-togethers, user meetings, fc exhibitions. External appointment tips – event tips, workshops – are marked blue.

You can write comments on an appointment, as you are used to from photos. You can also register for an appointment or show interest. As soon as you have registered for an event or expressed interest, the event will automatically appear in the “My Community” area in the left column and in the event box in your profile.

In your account settings you can determine whether current events from your area should be sent to you by mail. You can find this function under “Settings” – “Features”.
